GCSE, A Level & BTEC

An in-depth understanding of GCSE, A Level and BTEC specifications allows us to assist and complement the current teaching of these courses. We can provide a valuable resource for students studying dance as part of their curriculum and the course leaders. We can offer several packages to enhance choreographic, performance and analytical skills as well as creating and teaching exam pieces. The key feature of our workshops is that they are specifically tailored to meet a variety of requirements. They can be created in conjunction with teachers to;

 

Teach the GCSE set study

 

Choreograph and teach GCSE performance in a group or duo, appropriate to the needs of the group

 

Deliver workshops that enhance choreographic, performance and analytical skills (this can be linked to a comparative professional work or the set work)

 

Choreograph and teach BTEC assignments for performance modules

 

Deliver choreographic workshops to contribute to BTEC modules

 

Choreograph and teach AS performance in a trio

 

Choreograph and teach A2 solo performance (this can be in any of the chosen genres)

 

Deliver workshops to develop choreographic skills for both solo and group work

 

Deliver workshops to progress performance and technique to A level standard

  (All A level workshops can be linked to a professional work if required)

 

Enhance students Labanotation skills in preparation for Unit 5 exam
